Memorial Inscriptions at Ripon include:

Here lies the body of Wilfred Staveley, who died Jan. 25th 1743, aged 53; also, Robert Staveley his son, who departed this life the 22nd day of Dec., 1760, in the 35th year of his age. He was a dutiful son, an affectionate husband, a sincere friend, he lived esteemed and died lamented by his acquaintance.

Sarah, the wife of Wilfred Staveley, was buried April the 30th, 1764, aged 75 years.

Here lyes the body of Martha Staveley, wife of Miles Staveley, Esqre., of North Stainley, who died in May, 1738; also her husband, who died 10th June, 1752.

Miles Staveley, of North Stainley, General in His Majesty's Forces, &c., &c., died the 26th day of July, 1814, in the 77th year of his age.
