Robert Staveley of Bossall was buried at Holy Trinity, Stockton on the Forest, on June 30, 1813 at the age of 73 years. His wife Hannah was also buried at Holy Trinity, on October 3, 1814 at the age of 76 years. Robert was born about 1740, and may be the son of Thomas Staveley and Jane GIBBISON of Pocklington.
Benjamin Staveley married Mary HUTCHINSON in Warthill on January 23, 1811, and had the following children in this parish:

The 1851 census shows that there was an additional child, Francis. Francis is found residing with his brother in 1851 in York. Based upon his age at death, Francis was born in York approximately 1826, but a record of his birth has not yet been located. In 1852 Francis married Jane STEPHENSON in York, and is residing in York St. Nicholas in 1861.
Son Robert married Mary Anne PADBURY in 1842 and moved to Oxford.
Son Thomas married Maria SCOTT and moved to St. Mary Bishophill Senior, York.
Son John married Mary and moved to St. Margaret, York.
