Shirwell, Devon
The Shirwell Staveleys direct associations with the other Devon Staveleys are not clear. The following entries for children of John Staveley and Elizabeth are from the Shirwell registers:

It is possible this is John Staveley that married Elizabeth ORCHARD on August 3, 1627 at Saint Martins Church, Exeter.
John and Elizabeth's son William appears to have married Susan CHINGE December 26, 1660 in Barnstaple, just south east of Shirwell, but no children have been located for them.
It is vaguely possible, though not proven, that John and William had a brother Abraham, that married in Abbotsham.
