William Wright Staveley was born in Rotherham, Yorkshire in 1793 to parents John Staveley and Millicent WRIGHT of Harthill. William married Jane BOWER on January 25, 1819 in North Anston, and had the following children:

William Wright Staveley died in 1832, and at the time of the census we find his widow Jane residing with her son Thomas Charles in Islington, Liverpool.
Son Francis is staying with his uncle John in Wales, Yorkshire in 1841. Francis later married Ellen JONES and is living in St. Thomas, Liverpool in 1851.
Son William is living in Tranmere, Cheshire in 1851 with his wife Fanny.
