Richard Staveley b. 1807 is the son of Richard Henry Thomas Staveley, and Mary Ann FYFE who were married August 22, 1805 at St. Alban Wood Street, London. Richard (b. 1807) married Agnes Jane CARTER and had three children, Marianne Fyfe, Frederic Winbolt, and Henry Staveley born in Liverpool. The family is residing in Toxteth Park in 1851, and by 1861 are found living in Kirkdale, Lancashire in 1861:

Richard's son , Frederic Winbolt Staveley, became a Shipping Agent in Liverpool. He married Harriet SCHOLEFIELD, in 1867, but she died the following year. Frederic married his second wife, Mary BRICE in 1869 and is residing in Bootle in 1871.
Daughter Marianne Fyfe Staveley, married Matthew GALBRAITH, and moved to Aberdeen, Scotland.
Son Henry Staveley married Jessie T. GALBRAITH from Edinburgh, Scotland, possibly the sister of Matthew mentioned above. Henry and Jessie are residing in Everton in 1871. Henry, like his brother, also became a Shipping Agent, but by 1881 based his business from Hornsey, Middlesex .
Richard Staveley died in 1870 at the age of 63 years. In 1871 his widow Agnes is residing in Everton, Lancashire. By 1881 she has returned to Hornsey, Middlesex. Agnes Jane died in Hornsey in 1902 at the age of 91 years.
