Thomas Comer Stavely was born March 19, 1883, the son of William Henry Stavely and Margaret Richards BELL of Stewart County. In 1900 Thomas is living with his father in Humphrey's County, but by 1910 we find him in Gibson.

Thomas's daughter Wilma died in 1921 and is buried at Double Springs Cemetery, Gibson.

Thomas's brother, John Bell Stavely was born in Stewart County on March 4, 1886, and married Annie Estelle ELLISON January 02, 1916 in Fruitland, Gibson County, Tennessee.

FRIDAY JANUARY 28,1921 HUMBOLDT,TENNESSEE

Mr. John STAVELY, about 35 years of age, died Saturday afternoon at his home two miles north of Gibson. Services were held at Double Springs Sunday,burial in Double Springs Cemetery. He leaves a wife, two small children, a sister and several brothers to mourn his death.  

 

Arthur Pinkney Stavely was born January 24, 1877 and is the brother of John above. Arthur married Clara J. HARRIS and initially settled in Humphrey's County.

Arthur's wife Clara died May 15, 1942. Arthur died August 26, 1956. Both are buried at the Davidson Chapel Cemetery in Gibson County, TN.

Son Lonnie Earl Stavely died June 9, 1966 and is also buried at Davidson Chapel Cemetery.

Daniel Wilson Stavely is the youngest son of William Henry Stavely and Margaret Richards BELL of Stewart County.
