Castleton, Lancashire
This Castleton is not to be confused with the Castleton in Derbyshire, although this Staveley family does have Derbyshire connections. Samuel Staveley was born in Holmesfield, Derbyshire, the son of Francis and Martha Staveley of Dronfield, Derbyshire. Samuel married Sarah BUTLER in Chesterfield in 1840, and is found residing in the village of Marland, in Castleton, Lancashire in 1851:
